While Bathgate Band can trace its heritage back to the 1830s, it is perhaps best recognised for its proud role at the forefront of the Bathgate Procession.

For generations, our musicians have taken their place at the head of the procession, linking Bathgate’s rich past with its present through the power of music. This cherished tradition is more than a performance. It reflects the community spirit, continuity, and cultural identity that have connected the band and the town for almost two centuries.
